Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch opened in 1977 as a result of the vision and efforts of Mr.Don McCain and Mr. Stan Way. Land for the Clarence, MO site was provided by the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown. By 1983, there were three homes on the original nine acres ministering to children in need.
The ministry of Shiloh now includes a total of seven such homes for children, two relief homes, plus an onsite school at the Kahoka, MO site. All of this has been provided through the generous giving of people who want to help abused/neglected kids have the hope of a better life.
Shiloh operates without any governmental funding depending, instead, on the generous support of people who volunteer their support.
We celebrated our 30th Anniversary in 2007! With our great past and bright future, many great things are continuing to happen at the ranch sites and we would love to hear from you! Please call, email, or come and visit! We invite you to contribute to the ongoing commitment of Shiloh and the children we help here! There are a variety of ways you can make a difference! |
